Our foundation

A legacy built through chemistry and commerce.

Perdomo & Company traces its origins to Juan Perdomo (1936–2019), a skilled chemist who immigrated from Cuba to Venezuela in the late 1950s. His technical knowledge and noteworthy contributions played a crucial role in establishing and developing Venezuela’s sugar industry.

His laboratory experience created a practical understanding of how chemistry, equipment and people come together in industrial production. Juan learned that customers needed more than access to chemicals: they needed dependable products, sound technical guidance and a supplier who accepted personal responsibility for every commitment.

In 1984, fueled by a passion for chemistry and commerce, Juan established a chemical sales and distribution firm. The business was built to connect industrial customers with specialized technologies while maintaining the close, responsive service that defined his professional life.

In 2007, Perdomo expanded its horizons by opening operations in the United States—a significant milestone in our journey and a stronger platform for serving customers across the Americas.

More than four decades later, we are proud of the strides we have made and the impact we continue to have.
